KONAS PERDOSNI - AOCN 2026 — Medan, November 18–22, 2026
Assalamu’alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh,
Praise be to God Almighty for His blessings and grace, which have enabled the Indonesian Society of Neurologists (PERDOSNI) to once again convene the XIth National Congress (KONAS XI), held this year in conjunction with the 20th Asian Oceanian Congress of Neurology (AOCN) in Medan, North Sumatra.
The rapid progress in the field of neurology demands continuous integration between research and clinical practice. Innovations in diagnostics, therapy, and neurological technology hold great potential to improve patient care, yet they also present challenges in achieving optimal and equitable implementation.
"This congress is expected to serve as a strategic scientific forum for neurologists, researchers, and healthcare practitioners to share knowledge, strengthen collaboration, and enhance professional competence at both national and international levels."
In line with this, the theme chosen reflects PERDOSNI’s commitment to connecting scientific innovation with patient-oriented neurological services:
“Innovations in Neurology: Bridging Research and Patient Care”
This congress also represents an important opportunity to reinforce professional networks and Indonesia’s role within the Asia-Oceania neurology community, bringing together neurologists from across the region to advance shared goals in patient care.
On behalf of the Central Board of PERDOSNI, I extend my appreciation and gratitude to the Organizing Committee, speakers, partners, sponsors, and all parties who have contributed to the success of this event.
May KONAS XI PERDOSNI and the 20th Asian Oceanian Congress of Neurology proceed smoothly and deliver meaningful scientific benefits for the advancement of neurological care.
Wassalamu’alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh.
Warm regards,
Chairman of PERDOSNI
